APEPCY urges everyone to help the victims of the earthquake |

 On May 12 at 14:28 pm, an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 on Richter's scale shook China. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Wenchuan of Sichuan province, in the southwest of China. As of May 19: 32,476 people have been confirmed dead, and 10 million people are directly affected by the earthquake. APEPCY calls for all members of society to mobilize quickly to donate money, materials and assistance to the people who have been hit by this disaster. |

First APEPCY house launches website |

On November 9, 2007, the first APEPCY house in China launched a website called "the harbor of your dreams". It can be accessed by following this link: http://xinmengyizhan.apepcy.org. Established by the APEPCY house in Fushun No.2 middle school, it will function as a platform of communication between teachers and students. Through the website they can communicate with each other about topics of interest.

Shaanxi province gets its first APEPCY house |

 On the evening of November 30, APEPCY set up the first "APEPCY house" in Shaanxi province, the house is a pilot project in the area. A ceremony was held in the students' centre of Chang'an University to mark the event. The opening of the "APEPCY house" is sponsored by Chang'an University, the AIDS Prevention and Control Office of Shaanxi Province, the Health Bureau of Shaanxi province, the education bureau of the province and the Chinese Communist Youth League there. |
